Completely agree, height is not really part of the ratio as I would view that in the third dimension, i.e. elevation. On a 2D map it's really about length and width. I knew the answer wanted, but didn't pick the right word so I'd say more options need to be accepted.
They're not. Height goes up from the ground. That's why the average height of a man is 5'9" and not 13 inches. Length and width are the dimensions the question is asking for. I don't particularly mind "height and width" being an accepted alternate, but it really should accept "length," which is the most correct answer.
Wikipedia: "Height is measure of vertical distance, either vertical extent (how "tall" something or someone is) or vertical position (how "high" a point is)." So height is wrong here, the north-south distance is length.
