I have GOT to start trying the country name for mountains and rivers in these quizzes. I can't tell you how many times I've kicked myself for that!

Please accept "Length to width" and other things as well. I tried so many before getting it right.

Same, but I didn't get it right after so many tries

Same! I wasted so much time trying to see which iteration of length and width worked.

i agree ... width to height makes no sense

Yes, please. I never got it, despite knowing exactly what the answer is - I just didn't happen upon the specific phrase the quiz wanted. My first try was "length to height," sounds like that's a pretty common one.

Completely agree, height is not really part of the ratio as I would view that in the third dimension, i.e. elevation. On a 2D map it's really about length and width. I knew the answer wanted, but didn't pick the right word so I'd say more options need to be accepted.

Absolutely. And this still hasn't been corrected. "Height" is just wrong. It does not mean north-south distance at all.

Agree. "Height" is nonsensical.

can you accept width to length?

Length and height are the same in this question, because if you are looking at the country, width to height (or width to length) makes the most sense.

They're not. Height goes up from the ground. That's why the average height of a man is 5'9" and not 13 inches. Length and width are the dimensions the question is asking for. I don't particularly mind "height and width" being an accepted alternate, but it really should accept "length," which is the most correct answer.

Wikipedia: "Height is measure of vertical distance, either vertical extent (how "tall" something or someone is) or vertical position (how "high" a point is)." So height is wrong here, the north-south distance is length.

Just a little remark, this question is not quite grammatical:

"Laughing" African mammal that is country's national animal

I think the "smallest country in mainland Africa" question could be rewritten.

Please add length to height. I didn't think the problem was that I was using the wrong synonum.

I tried length/width and then east/west and finally got it with longitude/latitude.
