The Kennedy vacation compound was/is in Hyannis Port, on Cape Cod, not Martha's Vineyard, Jackie Kennedy Onassis purchased her property on MV in the late '70s, well after the death of JFK and after the death of her 2nd husband.

There are other Kennedy associations with MV, but not really vacation-oriented. There's Chappaquiddick, which is a small island right off of MV. Ted Kennedy drove a car off a bridge there in 1969. He escaped. His passenger, Mary Jo Kopechne, did not. JFK Jr. and his wife died in a plane crash off MV in 1999 on their way to a wedding in Hyannis Port.

(Maybe you can tell I lived on Cape Cod for a number of years.)

P.S. Good quiz.
