It wasn't Xerxes, but Cyrus the Great. Xerxes became a king of Persia in 486 BC, when the whole territory of modern Turkey had been conquered by Persians

I've never heard of Qibla before. I knew that Muslims prey towards Mecca, but I didn't know that there's a special name for the direction.

Turkey did not exist by that time. Turkey is not the name of the area, but of the country that sits on Anatolia and was formed long after.

Please correct that, it is very wrong

Half of these questions have nothing to do with the state/country of Turkey, they just happened to take place in the same geographic area it occupies.
