Corporation founded in 1602. It would become one of the most powerful corporations the world has ever seen. At its height it was the most valuable corporation ever.
Dutch East India Company
In 1619 the Dutch conquered this city and made it their tradehub in East Asia

In 1623 the Dutch called this unethical and forbid anybody to partake in it. In 1635 the Dutch fully adopted this due to their new plantations in Brazil
Slavery
A period in the Dutch Golden Age during which contract prices for some bulbs of the recently introduced and fashionable tulip reached extraordinarily high levels and then dramatically collapsed in February 1637. It is generally considered the first recorded speculative bubble
Tulip Mania
The Dutch trading post Dejima was the only place for direct trade between the western world and this country

The Netherlands creates this pact with two closeby countries. This Union would become an international example of cooperation between countries.

On 17th of August 1945 this country declared its independence from the Dutch kingdom.
