I liked this list because I had read every book on it except Bronte's "Tenant..." Missed the Sherlock Holmes answer. I kept thinking of Scarlet Letter!

Actually re-read Robinson Crusoe recently and decided it had the least satisfactory closing chapters of any book I could remember!

Struggled through 900 pages of War and Peace before I got too sick of reading about dying soldiers in the snow and trying to keep track of all the Russian names, that I slammed it shut

My life-long favorites from this list: Le Mis,Jane Eyre, Two Cities,Moby Dick, Crime and Punishment, all of which I have read twice...

Two books I think should be on any list of Best Book Ever: Great Gatsby and Kingsolver's Poisonwood Bible.

So, that's my 2cents worth!
