I wouldn't say Libertarianism is extreme, just pro-privatisation, individual liberty and as you said minimal government

I suppose you are right really but Libertarianism is a very big tent. It can encompass anything from Anarchism to Conservatism really so long as there is that belief in minarchism. I think we generally think of the Ron Paul sort of Libertarianism when speaking of it. If you want I can change it though.
