Ocala is misspelled. Golden Glades, Egypt Lakes and a couple of others aren't real municipalities. They may (or may not) be CDPs, but they're not cities, towns or villages.

It's always perplexing how random Florida's city limits are. Jacksonville took an entire county, rural backwoods and all, while Miami is the physically smallest major city in the U.S. despite having one of the very biggest continuous urban belts.

One municipality over 25,000 exists in the Port Charlotte/ Charlotte Harbor / Venice / Northport area despite having an urban area of half a million.

Northport isn't the central city in any form, it's just incorporated and has huge city limits with just sprawled out houses and no downtown at all. It's like Cape Coral is to Fort Myers, Palm Bay to Melbourne, Port St. Lucie to Stuart, Bonita Springs to Naples, etc.
