Early Arthurian Legend

The Annales Cambriae (Annals of Wales) and the Historium Brittonum (History of the Britons) are two old texts from the early Medieval Era (8th – 10th century) that contain alleged accounts of the early histories of the people of the British Isles. They also contain the earliest written accounts of the existence of King Arthur, describing him as a war leader who fought against Saxon invaders. It wasn't until Geoffrey of Monmouth wrote his fictionalized history of the Kings of Britain that we get stuff like the kingdom of Camelot and a more fleshed out backstory, which would be elaborated upon by later writers (most Arthurian legend can be described as fan fiction that elaborates upon historical footnotes). The questions and answers to this quiz concern Arthurian Legend as according to the three aforementioned works
