Not in book 5, though, which is why I made that distinction. Correct spelling is an intended part of it. It's meant to be hard.

Awesome quizz ! Just a few remarks : I think it would be simpler to allow just first names for some of them, personnally I found it annoying to rewrite 'lannister', 'baratheon' or 'targaryen' several times in a row. In some cases I think it's even contradictory : Aemon should not be considered as a Targaryen (he's just maester Aemon, like Luwin) and it's a bit weird to ask for 'Qhorin Halfhand' when Halfhand is already the nickname. Also it might be a good idea to mix the characters a little bit, the way it was presented here, I could guess that all the stark would follow in order after robb, without even reading the questions. And I have to disagree about Jorah Mormont : he's not the lord of Bear Island since he was exiled, I first tried to put Maege Mormont instead. And I don't remember seeing Jaqen H'ghar being referred to as 'Alchemist', I was thinking about the man who makes the wildfire (but I could be wrong on that one). But congratulations, you did a very good job :)

You could add extra: The Dancing Master = Syrio Forel The Disgraced Knight/The Fool = Ser Dontos Hollard Former/excommunicated Maester = Qyburn Squire = Podrick Payne The Masked Woman = Quaithe Kudos for not including the most unnecessary character in the whole entire series though: I don't understand why people get so caught up about that one. Strong Belwas is the most nothing character that there is in the books. Leaving him out of the tv series was inspired casting. And make the quiz LONGER! There isn't enough time!

I so did not make the connection that Jaqen H'ghar is probably fake Pate! I swear, if the next book doesn't come out soon, my head is going to explode! Great quiz, also, very hard.

You missed one of the most famous nicknames, The Sword of the Morning!

Apart from Aerys and Rhaegar, I've deliberately stuck to only including characters that actually appear in the timeline of the books, as opposed to predating the series. Otherwise I would have included historical figures like 'Bittersteel', 'Egg', 'Breakspear', 'The Kingmaker', etc as well. Also, technically 'The Sword of the Morning' is just the title of whichever knight of House Dayne is deemed worthy to carry the ancestral greatsword 'Dawn', so if I included historical figures, while we automatically think of Ser Arthur, it would apply to Ulrick, Davos, and various other Daynes as well.
