The Nine Circles of Hell

Dante divided Hell into nine circles, some with as many as ten subdivisions. Rather than asking you to name each and every one of those, this quiz calls on you to name the sin or crime punished on each circle. Naming the sin or crime punished in one of the subdivisions will also be accepted.
In addition, that old saying that Dante reserved the hottest places in Hell for those who, in a time of crisis, remained neutral, is wrong. In his scheme of Hell, the neutrals not only are not in the hottest places in Hell, but are not even in Hell at all; instead, they are found outside the gates of Hell, which some people call the ante-Hell--which, since it is outside Hell proper, is not included in this quiz.
