I can't believe I missed WW1/WW2. I was trying modern day wars and even went as far as to try things like "war on drugs", which is a pretty bad guess in hindsight.
Sometimes I forget just how popular pop stars are. I don't care for the genre but some bigshots in L.A. know exactly how to appeal to the masses. Also how are How I Met Your Mother and Big Bang Theory on here?
A lot of sitcoms are in syndication around the world, including BBT and HIMYM. With English being the modern day de facto lingua franca, easy to watch shows that make people laugh are a great way to hone language skills.
I know a Polish girl who credits Friends with learning how people speak English in casual conversation. I also know a few guys who watched a lot Baywatch as teenagers. They didn't learn English from it. They just watched it a lot. Guess they were just into nautical first responder dramas.
Really interesting quiz, but historical villain is an awful description. I was extremely confused by what that could possibly mean would never have gotten it in a million years.
Surprised it's so highly guessed, historical villain almost sounds like a cartoon character to me tbh. Why not something like historical figure or dictator?
