Big and bulky; carries a blaster or a sword and shield. Harbors multiple variants based on raids or strikes.

Floating, armored orb. Named for it's eerie calls. Fires ballistic projectiles.
Shrieker
Basic infantry. Shoots purple projectiles.
Acolyte
Floating, horned creatures that are proficient in sorcery.
Wizard
Giant, lumbering creatures that fire a continuous beam of lethal energy from their eye(s?)
Ogre
Most common caste of Vex. Named after small, malevolent, belowground creatures.
Goblin
Named after the one-eyed monster that had its eye stabbed out by Odysseus.
Cyclops
Broken, headless Goblins. When defeated, they will explode, leaving a deadly puddle of Vex Milk.
Fanatic
Large creatures found most commonly on Mercury during the public event.
Gate Lord
Small, flying Vex with tendrils. Named after the winged creatures of Greek mythology.
Harpy
Improved Goblins. Sport ornate horns on their heads.
Hobgoblin
Large, flying Vex with a shield on some sides of it's body.
Hydra
Medium-sized Vex with shields and the ability to teleport.
Minotaur
The most basic caste of Cabal.

Most basic caste of Fallen.
Dreg
Slightly stronger than the above. Four-armed.
Vandal
Medium-sized Fallen. Carry Scorch Cannons and can teleport.
Captain
Called "High Priests"
Archon
The seven individuals who assisted Prince Uldren Sov in the escape of the Prison of Elders.
Baron
Hooded caste. Can teleport. Mainly uses melee weapons to attack. Utilizes cloaking technology to sneak around.
Marauder
Flying, drone-like enemies that shoot arc projectiles.
Shank
Variant of the above. Loaded with explosives.
Exploder Shank

A "Taken" Cabal heavy.

Upgraded "Taken" caste of the above.
Taken Hobgoblin
"Taken" Hive caste. Heavy infantry, carries a projectile weapon or a sword/shield.
Taken Knight
Another "Taken" Vex. Big and heavy, can teleport.
Taken Minotaur
Giant, "Taken" Hive creature with a singular eye that fires a deadly projectile.
Taken Ogre
Another "Taken" Cabal. Carries a shield that can throw the targeted enemy back several yards.
Taken Phalanx
Another "Taken" Hive creature. Similar to the Shadow Thrall in naming and action.
Taken Thrall
