German Noun Genders by Suffix

German is a language with grammatical genders. It can be a challenge for German learners to memorise the genders of each noun. However, the genders of many (though certainly not all) German nouns can be deduced by their suffixes. Can you guess, or do you know, which gender corresponds to each of the following suffixes?
Common exceptions to the suffixes are given in the explanations after you complete the quiz
Monosyllabic words are not included in the rules, unless otherwise stated in the explanations
