Atheism is not a religion, putting it into quotation marks doesn't make the question more correct or answerable.

nice quizz for the rest! and shoutout to all North Korean jetpunkers!

There are no NK jetpunkers and that is literally how NK treats Atheism, as well as exactly what quotation marks are used for, sit down

He is right, though. Adding the quotation marks to relativize the term doesn't erase the fact that it still has no similarity at all with what it's describing. The fact that north koreans have their own particular brand of superstitious fanaticism built around earthly objects (government, rulers) doesn't make it a case of atheism and religion being synonymous, nor even resembling such state to merit quotation marks. If anything, it's not really atheism, no matter what they might call it.

As for the totally irrelevant point about there being no north korean jetpunkers (which has no relation to the other point you addressed), sit down.

It's easy being a rude ass, while also not backing up your refutations with a proper and logical argument, isn't it?

Maybe the solution could be to change the wording to "belief system" instead of religion? One could argue atheism is a belief system built around not believing in any organized religious doctrine, so it wouldn't be wrong.

I agree that religion and atheism just don't work because they literally cancel each other out. Also, the thought that states have to have an official religion seems like an idea that North Korea would protest in general if it truly is Atheism.

Also, no need for snarky comments people, keep it civil.

I'm sorry but I really have to take issue with the tallest building question. The answer is basically already filled in. Kind of the same thing with the North Korea nickname question. What is the point of using this site if I don't even need to properly answer difficult questions? There have been a lot of generous clues lately with the new country quizzes. I understand the need to not alienate newer users, but I disagree with giving away the answers to tougher questions. I come to Jetpunk to use my brain and challenge myself and this quiz felt almost boring.

Not everyone is at Level 82. I love these new quizes, from a variety of quizwriters. There is a bit of simplification, that is true, but there is also a question or two that make me scratch my head, and I'm talking about those countries that I know a fair amount about. I think that at the end of the day, these quizes are fair, and fun. I think that this is the most important thing on this site, that we have a bit of fun.

railway 14, fun quiz. Well done.

You must have a horrible time doing crossword puzzles, if you can only fill in the answer where no letters are shown already, the agony..

If you already kjnow the answer, you already know it, if you need a push to get it, you needed a push to get it..

Two years after your reply but it is the borders of the DMZ that are heavily militarised. Between those two borders, there is a 3 mile wide strip which neither side can enter.

It's known to have a lot of wildlife compared to South Korea.

Please allow "Baekdu" for Paektu Mountain as it is also a correct romanisation. And "Kim Jung Un" for Kim Jong-Un because again it is a correct romanisation. 김정은 ("Kim Jeong Eun") is his name, and "Jung" is generally a widely known and accepted romanisation of the word 정 (Jeong), even more so than "Jong"

Also please accept "Yellow" for "Yellow Sea", I have seen other quizmasters accept that.

Could you accept "Yellow" for Yellow sea? Other quizzes allow that type in. Also "workers" or even "worker's party", for workers' party of Korea

This would make it consistent with other quizzes in this series and on the site.

On Jetpunk, it is the norm to never have to type in an obvious word that is already in the clue. It's such an accepted thing, that when I typed "yellow" about three times and it didn't take it I just assumed I was wrong somehow and gave up. Please fix this.

What does "technically" mean in the war question? I know this is somewhat pedantic but the Korea's do not recognise each other so neither of them consider themselves to "technically" be at war with the other. This is a civil war so there is no local or international recognition of an interstate war here.
