I toyed around with different clues for "Implement," including "Penis" and "Sean Hannity".... but decided that those would just be too difficult. Besides, the second clue could also be used for Pig Vomit.

Also what do you guys think about the clue "Verdant Axial Rotation?" Is that too out there? I was thinking of changing it to "Verdant 24 Hour Period"

Nope, I got it. It helped that the answer was one of the most famous.

I would never have gotten it, personally. I'm still trying to figure out the connection.

A day is one rotation on the Earth's axis. I think most people understand verdant = green and there aren't that many bands that start with green. But if you don't get that the 2nd part might be hard to understand. I'll change it.

I'm pretty pleased that (currently) HtDA is more guessed than "well coordinated"

"It's Possible They're Brobdignagian" is a fantastic clue!

bloody tough but good (altho as a brit have never heard of a few of them)

A few of these are pretty obscure no matter where you are from. HtDA and Pig Vomit, chiefly. TMBG isn't that well known, either, I think. Glad you enjoyed the quiz, though.

Yeah, HtDA was the one I struggled with most, having never heard of them. Pig Vomit and PatR I got just by guessing synonyms. I do feel sorry for people who don't know TMBG though.

It may be a "when you are from" as much as a where – TMBG are decidedly a GenX phenomenon, and I can't imagine any but the most retro-loving Millennials would've heard of them.

You also could've put "toxin" again and put Venom. Or "Forgiving Destiny" for Mercyful Fate. "Metal Mistress" for Iron Maiden. "Migration" for Exodus.

I put "Pig Vomit" as a joke and it worked. For "Absolute Certainty" I thought the answer was "Yes".

I'm sure I've mentioned before that I love you and want to have your babies, K. "The Method For Annihilating Seraphim" had me spewing my beverage out my nose in mirthy hysteria (and yes, I got it).

I was really surprised you didn't go with "Swine Countenance" though, to keep up the Trent Reznor theme (and if by some travesty of fate you do not know of Pigface, I command you to immediately go download "Suck").

Trent Reznor theme?

Why do you say that? Because I've got Nine Inch Nails and HtDA on here? I guess A Perfect Circle opened for NIN before. Don't see any others on here that are related. Tool, I guess, distantly and tangentially

If I was doing a Trent theme... I probably would have thrown on... Slam Bamboo, Tapeworm, David Bowie, Flood, Skinny Puppy, Marilyn Manson, Queens of the Stone Age, Hole, Tori Amos, Johnny Cash, Sheryl Crow, and.... Limp Bizkit? :D

Some of those would be exceptionally hard to get since they don't exist or nobody has heard of them. But maybe I'll do something like that some day.

Also, thanks for the offer but I'm not really interested in having babies. Small point of contention with my last ex...

I don't actually want babies, either; it is not to worry. What does Sheryl Crow have to do with Trent? (P.S. I've been meaning to tell you, I live in your hometown.)

Which hometown? I'm not even really sure what I should say my hometown is. Most of my growing up I did in Centreville, Virginia. But I haven't been there in over a year and my parents and sister both live out in Haymarket now.

Sheryl is one of the many artists who have done a cover of the NIN song "Hurt."

For "Flamboyant Homosexual Man" I typed in the Dandy Warhols. Makes sense.

Anger directed toward the appliance, haha sounds awesome. I got the swine puke without knowing them. I knew seraphim-angel, but didnt know that band either ( and several others)>

And I learned a new word, brouhaha!!

OW yea, and I got stuck on massive attack, I was sure it was massive assault, tried it 3 times, thought typos, then thought well part is in the clue, so maybe it is about another band starting with massive??

Can you accept The Prince and the Revolution? Or take out the 'the' in 'the king's son' in the clue please? I would've got it if it weren't for that, even though I've never heard of the band

(also where has the checkbox gone for saying this comment includes a suggestion?)

You never heard of Prince?

The checkbox isn't there for quizzes that aren't featured. QM probably doesn't care if you have suggestions for the non-featured quizzes. :D But I appreciate it all the same.
