I feel stupid for thinking Chichen Itza was in Peru. Cool quiz! Wish it could get featured

Quizmaster chooses quizzes to be featured. I'm not sure how a quiz gets figured? Is that when you make a great quiz, it never gets featured, QM complains about running out of material or updates one of his existing quizzes rendering the perfectly good sequel you made redundant, and you say "go figure?" If so, that's happened to several of mine. :D

The Serengeti National Park is actually in Tanzania, not Kenya

Might because it's half in Tanzania and half in Kenya

Is it? Then I don't feel so bad about putting in the "wrong" answer before and if this ever gets featured QM can add that as a type-in.

I'm quite surprised more people know Pasargadae and Samarra than Aksum and Samarkand

Maybe if the Yellow Box was used the answers may not have been the same. If some are like myself I use educated guesses for a few.

I can't believe 3 years have passed and not a single person has commented on "Head Smashed-In Buffalo-Jump".... I had never heard of the place before researching the quiz, but it was the most awesome name for a UNESCO site that I'd ever encountered before (and not hard to guess) so I had to include it.

Oh. I actually didn't see it, I was just guessing obvious countries to begin with. Half of these places are unknown to me, and most of the rest I've not heard of.

Nice one, thanks!

I was going to comment on the eccentric Canadian one, but you beat me to it - today, after 3 years! Great name, and looking it up I see it's very aptly named indeed.

BTW, the DPRK type-in should be ROK.
