CDMX is an abbreviation for Mexico City. The answer in this quiz is the State of Mexico, which does not contain Mexico City.

Acceptable type-ins should perhaps include Estado de Mexico and Edomex?

North-Rhine Westphalia is very often shortened to NRW. That would be a relieving type-in.

I really enjoyed this quiz. Well done on getting featured. I just think that 12 minutes is a bit short. Luckily I am a student of India (Asian studies), so I got many of them, but it's still tough with so little time.

Thanks

Amazing quiz as always but can I know the source of the population for the Indian States?

Because Wiki and Citypopulation states the population of WB is 91 million while some other sources says it's 99 million. Where did you got the 103 million from?

I used a 2021 population projection using the 2001 and 2011 census. It's not 100% accurate but it was the best that I could have gotten rather than using a 9 year outdated data.

Great, but could you loosen the spelling? I tried "Rio Grande del Sud" and did not get points for Brazil. Granted, I did not have it totally correct, but I would expect "Rio Grande" to be a sufficient type-in; usually quizzes try to minimize how much you need to type in other languages.

it is cause there are multiple states of brazil that start with "rio grande do"

For the Philippines, could you accept Region 3 / Region III for Central Luzon, and Region 4-A / IV-A for Southern Tagalog Mainland? By the way, Calabarzon should be written there cause "Southern Tagalog Mainland" is obsolete. Nobody uses it here.

Shouldn't be the Netherlands be in here as well? In most quizzes, the Netherlands is classified as one single First-Level Subdivision.
+4
Level 72
Jul 12, 2022
And now they are.

More accurately, the part of the Netherlands that is in Europe is a single first-level subdivision, confusing also called the Netherlands (although they do technically call the whole country The Kingdom of the Netherlands but shockingly that just gets abbreviated right back down to Netherlands).

I don't think this is accurate, there are other countries with overseas territories but the first level subdivisions of the Netherlands (a sovereign state), are the 12 provinces which include for instance North Holland and South Holland.

Other countries such as the US, Denmark, France and Australia also have overseas territories.

I understand that Aruba and Curaçao are other countries within the Kingdom of the Netherlands, but in this case, would countries that belong to the Commonwealth also belong to the UK? It is a tricky one, but generally the first level subdivisions are seen as the 12 provinces. But I understand that others could potentially view this differently.

Nationalities, and Peoples' Region recently has dissolved into several smaller regions, so it should probably be removed.
