I did some digging, and both Gitega and Bujumbura sometimes get credited as being the capital (sometimes both sometimes one or the other). Apparently Gitega is the political capital and Bujumbura the economic, but still the seat of the government and still the official capita according to one wikipedia page. Quite contradicting at times. Since the page for Gitega says it is the capital..

And also not unimportant :

Ikiyaga Tanganyika kiri mu burengero bw’Uburundi kiri hafi y’umurwa mukuru Bujumbura kikaba ari ica kabiri kw’isi gifise munsi kure cane. :)

Well that settles it doesn't it? (the gist of it is, that Bujumbura is the capital)

But even if the page about Burundi in Kirundi called Bujumbura the capital I think you are correct and since 2019 Gitega is the capital. I will add Burundi :) Going to the source usually is very helpfull, but not if they aren't kept up to date ;)

It must just not have been up dated, because the page for Bujumbura does state that Gitega is the capital and Bujumbura is only the economic capital ( both in English as well as in Kirundi ;) )

Good quiz. I'm surprised about San Marino, I always assumed it was just one municipality.

Thanks :) It was an interesting fact to me too, to be honest I had never really thought about it, hadn't assumed anything about it one way or another :) It is nice to learn a bit more about them.

Hi! Not sure if you are using city proper or metropolitan area. IF you're using the metro, than Tel Aviv would be larger than Jerusalem and Israel can be added. If you use city proper however, than Brussels is famously small and Belgium can be added. :)

Nauru should be added.

Well, that's pretty contestable. Indeed, Nauru hasn't got an official capital+ the assumable capital isn't really a city. Whether Yeren is the de facto capital or Aiwo, seems not to be that clear to me, also.

I thought about Nauru too. But the instruction says, "Can you name all the countries that have at least one city that is actually bigger than their capital city?" and Nauru does not have any cities at all.

Brilliant idea for a quiz, and very challenging for me but thank you!
