The 'Port' of Rockhampton is a good 45 minute drive across empty river flats from the so-called 'inland' town. What a complete red herring.

The original hint said 'inland port' because Rockhampton was founded as a river port. I was unaware that Port Alma had been renamed the Port of Rockhampton. The hint has been changed to something less ambiguous.
