Equatorial Guinea? Is that the correct longitude?

You know, technically, Norway has claim to the portion of Antarctica the Prime Meridian passes through, which would make it have a longitude of 0 degrees. Or are we not including that?

that's just a claim, not a recognition.

True. Norway claims the territory, but de-facto it is controlled by penguins.

I propose we recognize their independence and call the new country Penguinea. We can always use another guinea on the world map.

As territories are not excluded, Bouvet Island, which is Norwegian (not just a claim) should be in at 3'22 E

Does the prime meridian wrap all the way around the globe like the equator, or just from the north to the south?
+3
Level 82
Feb 28, 2020
North pole to south pole. On the other side it's called the International Date Line.
+3
Level 72
Mar 6, 2023
Or anti-meridian, rather. The international date line changes based on timezones of its respective countries, the anti-meridian does not.
