Fun quiz! Is that actually how you're supposed to say Brunei? I've been saying it as bru-nay.

Pretty much all of these are horribly mispronounced. It aggravates me so I usually don't take these. Other people seem to like them. I think you just have to ignore it and say "oh well, close enough, sort of"

If you have ever played Mad Gabs, that's where the idea is from. It is supposed to be "close enough." In one of the quizzes, Argentina is Urgent Tina and Philippines is Philip Beans. There has to be leeway with pronunciation or you wouldn't have enough clues. Plus I'm American, so the pronunciations are with a Midwestern American accent. When dealing with pronunciation, it is such a confusing concept because of the variations. The quiz is supposed to just be fun and different. Most people on here seem to get that.

No, the pronunciations aren't exact, which is kind of the point. They're brain-teasers. You have to think about them and try to sound them out. As always, it's more about having fun than anything else anyway!

Harder than the other ones. Have to give you props for "Jab + Booty"! I didn't get it, but it made me laugh.

large wading bird? Long legged bird and I'd have have had it.... Jab + coins...never ;) Kendrick? New to me. The rest I was just too dumb. I hate timer quizzes--my IQ drops with the time left. There used to be a tea at Trader Joe's called Tranquility Tea, and my scores on everything with a timer went way up. But they discontinued it..... Kids were probably on to it?

At least yours makes sense. My stupid brain kept trying to throw ewe + flamingo at me. I knew I obviously had the wrong bird, but I couldn't think of any other.

I think you should replace Montenegro with something else. All of the answers are real smart and well found, but Montenegro is basically the meaning/origin of the country name.

Considering I've been there and I still didn't get it, I think the clue is great!

Wow. What an inventive quiz. I didn't get them all and a lot were a real challenge, but it is certainly nice to have something a bit different, that makes you think laterally. Thank you for taking the time to come up with it.

"Speak + Common Beachcomber Finds" could also be Turkey..

Speak = Talk

Beachcomber find = key

Talk-Key = Turkey

Well that was my thinking anyway
