Nice mix of songs.

A typo though...as much fun as it would be to sing about a fat guy named 'bob', the Poison song is "Unskinny Bop"

Also, Holy Diver was also covered by Killswitch Engage. Dio was the first to come to mind for me, but maybe not for others.

I'm not aware of any song by Great White called "Don't Treat me Bad". There was a big rock song in the 80's by that name from Firehouse though.

Cool quiz. Can't believe I missed some of these. And I'm ashamed that I knew Limp Bizkit did a version of Behind Blue Eyes but didn't know The Who did the original. I also knew that Katy Perry did California Girls and that Shel Silverstein wrote A Girl Named Sue but got the answers for those. I fooled around once with the daughter of the drummer from Midnight Oil...

Also, up to you if you want to change this or not, but currently "Manson" is not accepted for Marilyn Manson and "John" is not accepted for Elton John. I missed one of those for that reason.

A few notes to help improve this quiz, (awesome, btw) 1. Leningrad is also the title of a song by Billy Joel (who is also on the quiz for Uptown Girl), maybe have him as a possible answer for the former as well. 2. Mother Love Bone and The Tea Party have songs called Stargazer as well. 3. Fleetwood Mac also have a song called Hypnotize. 4. Bryan Adams has a song titled Hearts on Fire. 5. Tina Turner has a song titled Open Arms. 5. There are quite a few people with songs titled Let's Dance, while none are rock musicians, there's a whole library of other Bowie songs to pick from that are unique to him.

I typed Adams and it worked, but then I tried John and it didn't. So I thought John as in Elton isn't right answer. You should have the same system for the answers. Either you accept all last names or accept only full names.

Thats true. John is not accepted, because otherwise Johnny Cash gives Elton John, if you write whole name. Tricky one.

Someone likes their hair metal. There's lots of other music out there, though.

Since when are Marilyn Manson, David Bowie, Billy Joel, Elton John, Bryan Adams, Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash "bands"? And how do you figure "Boy Named Sue" is a rock song and Johnny Cash is a rock artist? You think YOU know something about rock?

Marilyn Manson is also the name of the band.

Beautiful People is a song by the band and not by leadsinger MM alone.

Disappointing how so few people are familiar with Focus and Night Ranger. Both brilliant and underrated bands.

@Tomtrific ok listen those are more of rock stars then what they are putting in the rock in roll hall of fame. Technically that is what their band is call they didn't make the music by them self didn't they. So you cant really say much.

I gave it a strong effort! I ended up with 68/100. A bunch of the bands I missed are just unknown to me, but that's okay. Thanks for the quiz!
