For Kali, I would use terms like: "time, black, change, destroyer of evil, fierce form of Parvati", etc. "Empowerment" sounds like the more general Shakti.

"Supreme being" could potentially mean many deities or even Brahman, depending on the sect of Hinduism, or the individual worshiper, so Vishnu's description should be more specific and non-sectarian. Something like "avatars (you could name specifics like Krishna) preserver, savior, consort is Lakshmi", etc. is better.
