hm.... looks like I'm the only person to ever even try this quiz so I don't need to comment on which ones I got you can just look at the results and see for yourself.
Oh man, I forgot how much he loved that abysmal turd Contact... haha... but for whatever reason I can never forget how much he gushed over fun-but-on-balance-pretty-mediocre-sci-fi-film Dark City. I remember him nominating that as the best film of the year whenever it came out. Got that one.
I thought I typed in A Christmas Story. Must have made a typo. I thought of Triumph of the Will but did not type it in. I tried Ghost in the Shell, Akira, Princess Mononoke and then gave up guessing anime but Spirited Away is on here, hm...
Some obvious ones I missed: Vertigo, The Wizard of Oz, Sunset Boulevard, Psycho, Maltese Falcon, The Godfather...
oh man, he liked JFK, too? Roger, Roger, Roger... hehe
I guess you're right about JFK. I enjoyed it the first time I watched it but I was about 12 at the time and completely ignorant about what actually happened so the whole conspiracy thing seemed kind of cool. Now... I don't think I could possibly turn my brain off completely enough to enjoy the film. It's just too silly if you have ever spent time talking to the screwballs who believe in the theories that the film endorses. Or if you have seen the demonstrations of how Kennedy's head actually *would* have gone "back and too the left. back and too the left" had he been shot in the back of the head, pushed by the force of ejecta exploding out from the other side... this kind of deflates the major dramatic climax of the film.
On the other hand I don't think Michael Moore makes good films at all. I just can't stand listening to his voice. Though I guess if you can ignore that then Bowling for Columbine, Roger & Me, and Capitalism were okay. F911 was as bad as JFK, though.
and... you're welcome. :) My way of saying thanks for the many helpful comments you've left on my own quizzes. And I agree this one is pretty much impossible given the maximum time limit, but there's always the option of turning the time limit off.
Finally, there's one advantage of living in Germany and never hearing the original voices in Hollywood movies! I appreciate Michael moore for his satirical approach - some scenes in 9/11 are just hilarious, but as a documentary, it's not worth much, right.

I don't think you could even get all of the 362 movies because the general time is limited to 20 minutes. So, I admit, this quiz is a bit handicapped.
And JFK isn't that bad.. if you approach it like Michael Moore movies: ignore the facts.
