Experimenting with the phrase on Google, it seems more common to say that a city is "served by" an airport if the airport is an arrival airport for that city. For example, the cities served by BWI are Baltimore, Washington, and various small cities in between.

Nice quiz, but "Ruhr area" is a bit vague as a destination don't you think? I mean, I go to Cologne or Düsseldorf rather than "the Ruhr area".

As an urban area, no. Plus I accept Cologne Dusseldorf, and Essen as type-ins.
