I presumed Friday was a horse as he rode him in and think it should be an acceptable answer

My main complaint is that there's not enough time. Second, I've heard the one about Friday many times and it's always a horse, not a vehicle. You don't ride a vehicle, you drive it. And not that many people name their vehicles. Third, an egg is also a well-known answer to the room with no windows or doors.
