+1. Only noticed the scoreline, by accident, that there were still lots to do when I thought the map was indicating I'd gotten most of them.

I can sorta see your point, but when you see the name "French Guiana" or "Guadeloupe" on the list it really tells you all you need to know (except the answer) since it is a quiz about capitals.

Same here. Do not know many cities on mainland France, so I gave up early without even trying the overseas territorial capitals.

Agreed. QM, can you add some boxes below for the Caribbean territories?

2 more boxes under the carribean's would be nice for the sake of geography.

I am a simple frenchman. I see a quiz about France, I play it, I congratulate the maker.

What about St. Pierre & Miquelon? They're part of France.

Nice quiz! I always though Pointe-a-pitre was the capital of Guadeloupe region. Always learning something :-)

And "Bravo!" to those who knew the answer "Mamoudzou" for Mayotte !!! (unless you happen to be from that Island). Thank you Geronimo and Cheers!

Yeah, I tried Pointe a Pitre, Point a Pitre, etc. for nearly a full minute until I realized I wasn't getting anywhere -- then I figured it out.

Actually the new Region of Normandy (it used to be two regions - Upper and Lesser Normandies) have still two capitals : Rouen, and Caen.

The majority of the services and offices are being deplaced in Caen, which is considered as the new capital-to-be.

Great Quiz though

I think the capital for Burgundy Franche Comte is Besancon, not Dijon?

Well, the seat of the regional council is in Besançon, but the pefecture (capital) of the region is Dijon.

I am french and I think that Mayotte, La reunion, Guyane etc. are not regions but departments
