Great quiz! I got 75 with the first try, but I reset the quiz before the time was over. Second time (and first finished trial - 86). For me the time wasn't enough, but it's maybe because my mother tongue is neither English, nor German. There were a couple of words which meaning I knew, but couldn't find the right word in English. Oh, and one more thing: the most common translation for verwirklichen is realize. You can check it here: http://www.linguee.de/deutsch-englisch/search?source=auto&query=verwirklichen (<--- this is an awesome site btw). Maybe you should accept "give up" for abgeben, since this is also one of the meanings. Otherwise - good job! :) It would be cool if you do the same with subjects or adjectives. :)
Sorry about that. I avoided using 'realize' as the main translation because its most common definition in English is closer to 'bemerken' in German But you're right, it can also mean 'actualize'. I've added it as an answer and 'give up' as well. I also added two extra minutes. Thanks for the feedback. :) And I do plan to make more in the future
I really loved playing this quiz. Still, I'd suggest "ablehnen" instead of "absagen" as a German native speaker. To my mind, it's less ambiguous. And I'd delete "move in" as a translation of "anziehen" because "move in" is "einziehen" and I can't think of any context in which I'd use "move in" to convey the meaning of "anziehen". So if you've got one, I'd be glad to hear it. But you might add "attract" for "anziehen".
absagen - cancel
anmelden - sign in
abmelden - sign out
verbessern - correct
Also, the next ones allready have a good translation, and the one I suggest might be less commonly used, but closer to the german word.
