You should add Japan also. The Portuguese held sea ports there, until they got kicked by Tokugawa shogunate out of the country.

Hmm... My sources at least don't verify this. It is true that the Portuguese helped found certain Japanese ports, and had an extensive trade system with them, but as for definite holdings, I can't add Japan until I'm certain.

Macau was Portuguese until 1999

Macau was part of Portugal til 1999, it was know as the last european colony in Asia

Macau is currently an autonomous region of China. In my opinion, that does not warrant a separate entry.
