Leipzig was on here, but I had to cut the quiz down a bit. There's still 17 battles including the British, which is only 2 less than all the American-related answers.

Very hard question. I'd have to take the position of the earlier the better. Especially referring to Hannibal. If the Roman Empire hadn't existed, the whole face of Europe and the Middle Ages would've changed. Carthage, an African empire, would've been dominant. Pearl Harbor and Saratoga would probably both rank second.
