Cool quiz. Got everything currently guessed above 8% except for Louisville, Anchorage, Augusta and Lowell. I remembered Southwark and Northern Liberties from another quiz and probably helped to get Alexandria that I'm from NoVA.

Was Brooklyn not one of the boroughs of New York city way back then?

It was considered its own city until being absorbed into NYC in 1898. Which is why it disappears from the rankings (and NYC gets a big boost) that decade.
