Almost got it. Is this Johnny Cash?

Geeze, I tried mother, momma, mommy, mamma, father, daddy, papa, parents … never tried mama.

Tried memphis, nashville, georgia, texas, dallas, houston, austin, phoenix, kansas, vegas, never tried reno.
