Just to give you some context on the 1985 Draft Scam, the NBA was having branding issues at the time, and they needed to make sure Ewing(one of the best prospects of all time), went to a big market team. The person who put the envelopes in was indirectly owning the New York Knicks at the time. He suspiciously bangs the Knicks Envelope on an axle spinning the Lottery Ball, which creates a bend that could be seen from TV view. David Stern also was rotating his head while the Ball was spinning, as if he was tracking one envelope, and then, when he draws the envelope, he grabs two(The Knicks envelope was underneath one), and he makes a weird motion with his hand that flips away the first one, and draws the Knicks one. I think this is pretty easy to believe.
