King is not accepted for Stephen king because the word "king" is part of the Kingkiller series

At least five of these series are terrible. And where's Gene Wolfe? Jack Vance? Terry Brooks? Hell, R.A. Salvatore would be better than Cassandra Clare or Stephenie Meyer.

And what is Twilight doing that far above Eragon, or indeed any of the ones below it? Eragon is a well-written, long and exciting epic. Twilight is a badly-written bundle of firewood of which I managed the first page.

That's because the list is the result of a poll, as you would've known if you clicked the link in the description. You're welcome to disagree with it (I do so myself), but fact remains that these are the 20 most popular fantasy series (according to this poll at least)

My god, where's Earthsea? If people voted for this, they're clearly ignorant of what makes a good fantasy series. At least The Wheel of Time is there
