I tried "Baptist," "Anglican," "Lutheran" and "Methodist" without success. I have never heard any one refer to "Methodism" and I know that no one would say "Baptism." Please use the same language the rest of us use.

The Ethiopian Orthodox church is commonly known as Coptic. Also, you really have divisions of Christianity, not denominations. Evangelicalism includes all the non-denominational churches, who are proud to tout that they have no denomination, as well as several other denominations. And some of the Lutherans, Baptists and Pentecostals have very little in common and no contact or connection to one another. I think if you got a true listing of individual denominations, the order would change drastically.

Agree that Coptic should be accepted.

Some rather arbitary divisions -- Russian Orthodox is a part of Orthodox tradition. Greek Catholic is not mentioned. Ethiopian Orthodox is part of the Coptic tradition. Although you have the main strands of the Protestant divisions, evangelicalism is a rather ambiguous term that can be applied to different traditions. Here's a good list which may either increase the confusion or clear it up. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Christian_denominations_by_number_of_members

Or just take your cue from Monty Python http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ym-k5viJ7tA

Both the Roman Catholic and Orthodox divisions of Christianity consider themselves the one true church, and therefore predenominational, although others might consider them denominations. Pentecostalism and Evangelicalism are more like movements which occur in different denominations.

What is "baptism" as a christian sect?
