Can you please accept "Goering" as an alternative spelling? It is the way it would be spelt without an umlaut!

The Bombing of Guernica happened during the Spanish Civil War not WW2.

The two above comments are right. 'oe' is the general English way to spell umlaut words just as 'ue' is for 'ü'. Am I being rude to point out that this particular poster never corrects anything? Perhaps I am.
