Olympic countries by first gold medal

For each country that has won an olympic gold medal, their first gold medallist is mentioned, along with the year and the event. Your task is to give the correct country for each
Where a country won more than one gold medal at the same Olympics, one of those is given, not necessarily the first
This does include countries that no longer exist, and countries that compete(d) separately at the Olympics, but are usually considered part of another country. This does not include 'unified teams' or 'independent athletes.
(f) denotes a women's event

Countries from the Rio de Janeiro Olympics have now been added, I hope I didn't miss any. There are actually 9 new countries, which is the highest number except for the first Olympic games in 1896.
