I do NOT think that France borders Brazil. Please correct.

French Guiana does and it's a part of France technically.

What about Armenia and Azerbaijan as landlocked Asian countries, though? I know some people say they're in Europe but that's always seemed like a stretch to me, and I think they are in the minority.

This is a bit awkward. You're obviously correct (I don't know why I was being so stupid) but I can't just add two more countries, as then it would be a group of twelve. Not really sure what to do now.

You may as well add Georgia to that list to make 13

@Sparky1000: Georgia borders the Black Sea which has access through Bosporus, Sea of Marmara, and Dardanelles to the Mediterranean, which feeds through the Strait of Gibraltar to the Atlantic. Armenia and Azerbaijan, however, are more difficult to answer...I would consider them landlocked but as relessness pointed out it would be a group of 12. A new question is in order. Ten cities with more than 1,000,000 people in the USA? I think there are 10 of them now.

I thought it was spelled French Guiana, which I tried over and over. But if the quiz maker is going to be pedantic, then the spelling of it doesn't matter, since they're only allowing France, which is pretty loathsome.

I had a really hard time spelling Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. Some variations should be accepted, also.

You should specify that you aren't including any of the tall grass prairie portion of the Great Plains. I wasted so much time trying to figure out why Iowa, Minnesota, nor Missouri would work.

I'm all for correct spelling... up to a point; being overly specific about the spelling of the -stans is kind of a dick move.
