should include table tennis as the correct answer for ping pong, it is the official name of the sport after all.

Forrest never played in the Olympics. He went to China to play pingpong as a goodwill ambassador of sorts. The Olympics were held in Mexico City in 1968, Munich in 1972, and Montreal in 1976, which would cover any time frame for Forrest to play.
