you should definitely make the 2 parties two different answers. "Democratic/Democrat" "Republican". Also I kept trying to put "American Revolution" and it didn't work. Try to add some more possible answers for those.

Woohoo 100, seeing as I am an American though, it would've been pretty embarrassing to get anything less

It wouldn't take "Republican and democrat." Also when I typed "American Revolution," the answer "Civil War" appeared. Those are entirely different wars.

The "political parties" question needs to accept far more answers. I tried "democrats and republicans" and it didn't work-because I added an s at the end of each. Stupid.

What about the War of 1812? or the Mexican-American War? I'd say both were pretty "major" (especially 1812).

Yes, but neither were really on the same level as the revolutionary or civil war.

Fun one, Got stuck on the highest mountain, for some reason I thought you wanted the state with the highest mountain, and was getting irked when Alaska wasn't working. Especially since you'd specifically excluded Hawaii. Eventually got it with Denali, though.
Side note--saw you asked on another quiz how to do fill-in-the-blank quizzes, but since we don't get notifications of replies... Look here for help.

If you want them to put the colonies alphabetically, check the yellow box option, right above caveats

Missed Phelps and Scott Key, and missed Obama, on purpose.

Please keep the answer to current President as is. Barring that, then the fictional "Jed Bartlet" who is my political spirit animal guiding me through these turbulent times. Or if the West Wing isn't your thing, then anyone who's literate above an 8th grade level will do just fine too.

Wasn't the Revolutionary War the War of Independence? - Also, wasn't the War of 1812 fought on US soil?
