Good call. I looked it up and the population of Sao Paolo's "city proper" is slightly higher; probably the question should be removed, or the wording changed.

I thought it would be Jakarta too. I tried Sao Paolo. This quiz doesn't accept that spelling so I missed the question.

Point of politeness: the major Italian subdivisions are called Regions and not states (as would be the case, for example, in Australia, Mexico, or India).

Nice quiz. I would suggest however splitting it into two separate quizzes as the amount of questions is a bit overwhelming.
