You should take "Man" for "Isle of man"

Isle of Man is also known as Mann, with two n's, but I'll cut some slack and Man will work now.

I think you should put a dot or something next to Man-Guernsey-Jersey, and allow 'Faroe' for 'Faroe islands'

Good quiz!

Hopefully the instructions make it clear we're looking for six countries you rarely see in these quizzes.

Those three are all further away. "Holland" will work now.

Because, as you head south from England, you reach the northern coast of Spain before you reach the northern end of Portugal.

Why is Holland accepted for the Netherlands. Than i want Dakota to be accepted for the United States and Bavaria for Germany...

I sympathise with you. Wikipedia says: Some individuals, particularly from the other parts of the Netherlands, dislike the [use of Holland to refer to the Netherlands], or even find it insulting. For this reason I never use the term. The answer is accepted to recognise that others have a different view, and it's obvious which country they mean.

It's a widely-used term to refer to the whole country, unfortunately or not. I think it's being phased out, but pragmatically that will take time. The Dutch government still finances www.holland.com as the main tourism promoter of the country, for example, knowing that in many parts of the world it is still known by that name by a large number of people.

It's up to Jetpunk to decide when it finally becomes archaic, but almost certainly not yet.

Equating it to Dakota for the USA or Bavaria for Germany isn't right.

I didn't really understand why Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales, Isle of Man, Guernesey and Jersey are not in red. But good quiz !!

The accepted English spelling is Luxembourg, but would you consider accepting the also-common endonymic spelling with no O?

Sure, added. The country is actually has three endonyms, due to its three official languages of Luxembourgish, French and German: these are Lëtzebuerg, Luxembourg and Luxemburg.
