Does anyone else think Czechia is a poor choice for a new name? It sounds too much like Chechnya. There is bound to be confusion.

"So, you're telling me you want to answer a Country With B without writing a B in your answer? Hmm, OK, they work now, but they seem like iffy shortcuts to me..."

BY the way, your other quizzes (countries containing "B" etc.) These are great and tough quizzes, why aren't they rated for points?

Czechia isn't the Czech Republic's "new name." It's just an alternative name. The actual name is still Czech Republic.

All countries have an official name (eg United States of America, Czech Republic) and a short name (eg United States, Czechia). See here for the full UN list of all country names in both formal and short versions.
