Because Russia is classed as European on the Countries of the World quiz, and we are being consistent with that. Most of Russia's population, and arguably its identity, is in Europe, although most of its land area is in Asia.

You can practice for this one by doing the Two Minute Sprint first.

Nice quiz! You include the PRC type-in for China, yet DPRK isn't accepted for North Korea and the ROK isn't accepted for South Korea, though some of the new quizzes do include this type-in. Also, scroll mode, please

Who calls the Koreas that? (Only diplomats!) Are you sure you're not trying to wangle a point with 3 or 4 keystrokes instead of 10?!

To be fair quite a lot of people call it DPRK, maybe less so ROK for the South...

East of Urals, Asia. West of Urals, Europe. Russia is in two continents. Not hard, people.

Got 'em all with two seconds to go. Pro tip: Get the three and four letter ones and the small countries (like Singapore) out of the way so you can crank out the 10 letter ones.

if you're going for all of them what difference does it make which order you do them in?

I just go (generally) west to east; having some sort of geographic order makes it easier for me to remember which ones I'm still missing and helps me transition between them more quickly.

If you're only going to give us a minute to do this in... could you please finally accept KSA for the KSA, DPRK for the DPRK, ROK for the ROK, and maybe ROC for Taiwan. I think PRC is already accepted for China but that only saves you two letters, unlike the others which are significant.

Except for the way that says it's in Europe, which is wrong. At least, it is on Jetpunk, and also everywhere else that's logical.
