I thought, at least according to other quizzes seen on this website, that an island country sharing islands (ie with borders) is still considered an island country? Looks to me more like a quiz on 'countries without borders'.

The quiz would be a bit silly otherwise, because you'd get dominant half-islands, or whole tiny subsets of whole islands qualifying (think PNG and Brunei). I think it makes much more sense to think of island countries consisting of islands that are all theirs, but in the end, the main thing is to make sure that the definitions used are clearly stated in the quiz header.

I think both versions can be fun! And assuming they make the list, Malaysia and Equatorial Guinea could be included, too. Are we also getting a 'twin island countries' where the 2nd largest island is as close as possible in area to the 1st one? And one where the percentage of the largest island is lowest?

Cool! Just a suggestion, but what about calling them 'isolated' countries or something? The definitions are clearly stated in the quiz header but the title is what you can read directly from the list of quizzes and on jetpunk 'island countries' include PNG etc
