Sadly Ouaga is accepted now. Why can't we learn to spell correctly?!

I know - it's really putting me off Jetpunk altogether. The number of times my answer somehow starts with an E or some other missing letter from the previous answer just because an 'alternate' (read incorrect) version of spelling was accepted.

I somewhat agree, but I don't need to spell out USA, UK, KSA, DPRK, SJK, etc. every time. I wish there were more abbreviations available to use

Lilylee is correct, and Lisbon is definitely the answer. If you're still not convinced, measure it with a piece of string on a globe.

4843km is Google's suggested quickest route to drive between the two, not distance as the crow flies. It involves driving through Belarus, Poland, Germany and Denmark, where you catch a ferry to Iceland. The ferry arrives at the east of the island, you then drive around the north of Iceland to get to Rejkavik. This is nothing like a straight line!

I let it run down to 2 seconds left and it still lists my best time as 0:00. I've had this happen on several quizzes. Presumably I'm not the only one, but I've never seen anyone else mention it.

What generally causes a country to move capitals? Fear of the populace? A capital city seems more like a facade, than serving a genuine purpose to my limited understanding.

Capital cities are typically where national governments, foreign dignitaries, and embassies are located. Moving capitals is often logistical; a 10-million-person city is often not ideal for efficient government function.
