You should accept some alternate spelling for some of the earlier kings. Althestan for Aethelstan; Eldred for Eadred; Edwy for Eadwig; Ethelred II "The Unready" for Aethelred the Unready; Canute for Cnut; and Hardicanute for Harthacnut. These are the names I learned from reading the History of the British Monarchy on the official British Monarchy website.
Spelling issues aside, I enjoyed this immensely. It really pushed me to think past the usual, "William, Henry, Stephen, Henry, etc." Good to see Matilda getting some recognition.
