It might be because you were very early to take this quiz, and you might have scored a high percentile.

@someone2018, are you surprised that 2/5 of people got it right or that 3/5 didn't? It's actually at 26% guessed correctly at the moment. I have a long-standing interest in Norse mythology so it was obvious to me, but I think a quarter of quiz takers knowing the answer seems about right.

Yggdrasil is a pretty well-known thing if you're interested in Norse mythology, which I am. Neil Gaiman mentions it in some of his writing and Thor mentions it in the MCU movies.

Nice quiz. I got 16 answers, would have been 17, but I didn't know that Metusalem is spelled Methuselah in English. Maybe you could consider accepting Metusalem/Methusalem as well?

Ha, Methusalem would be a great name for a Judeo-Christian retirement community.

Can you accept "World Tree" as a type-in for Yggdrasil? It's not a problem to spell, it's just that it feels right to have a type-in because I, in my beginnings of mythology, always knew it as the World Tree and learnt its actual name later.

Who else had trouble spelling “baobab”? I tried “boabab”, “bobaob”, “babaob”, “baboab”, “boboab”, “boabob” and “baobob” before finally getting “baobab”.

Today was the first time I actually spelled it right, much to my amazement. I normally type baobao and get stuck there.

All of the answers are types of trees or names of trees, except the penultimate one. the clue should read, "Buddha gained enlightenment while sitting under this tree," with the answer "Bodhi tree." I think this would keep the consistency and isn't overly difficult.

Can't because the Bodhi tree is also known as the Bo tree (which people will demand we accept). Unfortunately, this will be filled in when people start typing Bonsai.
