Nice. But of course it wouldn't be a quiz about British places if some British pedant didn't come along to say this sort of thing:
- Happily you've correctly recognized that (in the UK) while cities are all towns, most towns are not cities. But sadly even then the title isn't strictly accurate, as villages are not towns.
- British Overseas Territories are not part of the UK, so the city bordering Spain and the capital of the Falklands don't fit the title or description either.
The Isle of Man and Guernsey are both British Crown Dependencies and not part of the UK either. Replacing ‘UK’ with ‘British’ in the title and ‘United Kingdom’ by ‘United Kingdom, British Crown Dependencies and British Overseas Territories’ in the intro would be more accurate.
I suppose I'll chalk up British towns as one of my weak spots. I probably could have guessed a couple by brute force, but I'll take my 0 points and remember a couple more when it pops up again! If all goes well, I'll get that 1 point!

You should probably ignore me.
Thanks for the quiz.
I'd love parts #2 & #3 - Salisbury, Oxford/Cambridge, Norwich, Plymouth, Swansea, Bangor, Blackpool, Inverness, Perth, Stirling, St Andrews, Hartlepool, Slough, Reading, High Wycombe, Glastonbury, Folkestone, Hereford, Shrewsbury, Carlisle, Derry spring to mind...
Easy(ish) if you're British, but not if you're not.
:)
