Top 20 Most Expensive Nintendo (NES) Games

These twenty games are among the rarest and priciest games to be found in the used video game market, not all of them are well known and some weren't even approved or licensed by Nintendo. Can you name these high priced blasts from the past?
Various spellings may be available. Sequels will require the number as well as the title.
Prices are according to PriceCharting.com as of March of 2021 and are based on the price of the loose game with no packaging.
The games listed were regular release games that came to market in the North American life of the NES (1985 - 1994) and includes ONLY games released for sale to the public. So, you won't find any games used in competitions, won as limited prizes, unreleased test cartridges, mail order games, unlicensed games, or special edition releases post 2000.
This list also won't include cartridge variants, like carts with different colour schemes or 5-screw variants.
